Safety in the warehouse
Handling pallets and other heavy goods within warehousing and logistics is a field where safety regulations are important to comply with. At EAB safety is part of the project from the very start. So that you build a workplace that is as safe and sustainable as possible.
THE WAREHOUSE AS A WORKPLACE
Because storage solutions are counted as part of the warehouse staff’s workplace, there are numerous rules and safety regulations that must be complied with.
When we design our safety solutions we take all of these aspects into account, while at the same time designing safeguards that extend the lifespan of our customers’ pallet racking.
We know that your employees are your greatest and most important asset and, of course, we also ensure that safety is complied with in all our projects. If there is something in particular you are wondering about during the course of the project, then you are always welcome to discuss this with your project manager.
PROTECTION FOR FRAMES AND POSTS
We have developed different types of impact protection for our pallet racking. With the right protection your warehouse storage solution will have even greater protection and sustainability.
ANTI-COLLAPSE SYSTEM
The mesh frame is one of our safety accessories, which besides being used in the pallet racking, can also be used as an anti-collapse system on shelving in areas with forklift truck and pedestrian traffic, thus preventing goods from falling down.
INDUSTRIAL BARRIERS
EAB several types of industrial barriers for warehouse safety. The products are highly flexible to accommodate different types of uses and needs.

THIS IS WHY
OUR PRODUCTS LAST
When we began building our brand it was centred around the key words Built to Last®.
It is a brand promise that we give to our customers and it is one that we continuously strive to fulfil in different ways. Built to Last® is a registered trademark in Sweden and is owned by EAB.
EAB has a lot to offer under the Built to Last® umbrella, not least, when it comes to relationships and our promise, but we would also like to explain in detail why our solutions last. Therefore, we have developed EAB Engineering Principles.

WHEN WAS YOUR WAREHOUSE LAST INSPECTED?
According to the European Standard EN-15635:2008, the warehouse must be inspected upon installation and on an ongoing basis at least every 12th month. It is important to check so that beans or poles have not become deformed, that beam security pins are in place and that the incline on the loaded pallet racking is correct.
