When Martin & Servera builds a new warehouse, they build both climate-smart and competitive. Modern and functional warehouses make the deliveries, control of waste and the use of energy efficient. The new warehouse in Norrköping is the last piece of their new logistics strategy, and they moved into their new facilities the 31th of October.
With a 31 000 m2 floor area and 10 meters in ceiling height, the new premises are not just bigger, but also much more modern and appropriate for both the business and the co-workers.
– Our previous warehouse was built 1964, so moving into these new facilities has been amazing. Our landlord has been very responsive to our wishes, and we’ve had big opportunities to design the warehouse just as we wanted, says Charlotta Gromulski, COO of Martin & Servera in Norrköping.
The thorough preparations have been made by an internal project group of logistics developers and transport and product managers, who all contributed with their expertise and experiences. The warehouse in Norrköping is the fourth and last in Martin & Servera’s new logistics strategy, and is unique in that it is the only warehouse with an automation plant. With a solid knowledge inhouse and a close cooperation with the salesman and project leader from EAB, Jens Hartwig, the outcome of the project is exactly what they hoped for.
