EAB is within an exciting phase of development in many ways. The second generation is working side by side with the third generation in this family business, which will continue to operate as a family-owned company.To achieve the set goals and visions for development, EAB has recruited an experienced external CEO who, in close collaboration with the Group CEO and the rest of the organisation, will guide the company into the future.
Long-term entrepreneurship
The owners, together with the Board of Directors, have set a vision for EAB that leads towards continuous development, both organically and through the acquisition of businesses that are directly or indirectly linked to our core business within EAB AB. Staying true to its genuine entrepreneurial spirit, EAB sees opportunities to create new business and build the EAB brand in entirely new markets, based on the same core values that have shaped EAB into what it is today. That is, with great commitment, a high level of knowledge, excellent quality and in close cooperation with our customers.
To provide the right conditions for achieving our vision as well as sustainable development, Per-Åke will leave his position as CEO of EAB AB in order to focus on the further development of EAB in his role as CEO and co-owner of the family-owned EAB Group AB, where EAB AB is part as one of the subsidiaries.
New CEO of EAB AB will be Tom Adolfsson, who most recently comes from Flexlink, a company with 1400 employees specialised in automation solutions. As the CEO, he has been an important part of the positive development of the company, not least internationally.
Tom Adolfsson
– I have worked in a family-owned business before and only have positive things to say about it. Of course, it’s all about chemistry and having the trust of the Board and the owners. I feel I’ve got it 100%.
– I’m looking forward to work closely with the second and third generations of the Andersson family to achieve, and perhaps even exceed, the targets and visions of EAB. This is a journey we will do together with all employees. My philosophy is based on the fact that nothing starts with a result. It all starts with people, and I feel that EAB’s core values are very much in line with who I am and how I see success.
– EAB has made a fantastic journey, which we will of course refine but also develop by continuing to work closely with our customers to create an understanding of their needs both now and in the future. This applies at both local and global level.
Per-Åke Andersson
– With 25 years of experience from similar services, Tom has a unique experience, knowledge and drive that can accelerate our development here at EAB. We see him as an excellent leader on our journey ahead and think it is very positive to be able to combine an external resource with the drive and ambition of the third generation in the family business.
– In my position as CEO of EAB Group AB and co-owner of the company I will continue to be highly involved and committed and a part of the future development of the business.
