With four decades of experience, EAB Lagerteknikk has established a strong presence in the Norwegian market and developed exceptional expertise in its field. Thanks to its extensive experience and commitment to quality, sustainability, and long-term customer relationships, the company is well-prepared to meet future demands and exceed customer expectations.

“At our company, the drive to continuously refine our products and create better solutions has been a central part of our approach. Facing new demands and expectations, we see this mindset as a key strength,” says Runar Bøe, CEO of EAB Lagerteknikk.

In 2008, EAB AB acquired Norsk Lagerteknikk AS, a company that had been supplying warehouse fittings, doors, and office furniture since 1984. Today, EAB Lagerteknikk AS is headquartered in Asker, employs 11 staff in Norway, and generates a turnover of approximately 100 million NOK.

A knowledgable key partner

Over the years, the company has steadily navigated through economic cycles and global market changes. A testament to this resilience is its performance during the 2008 financial crisis, when its focus on customer relationships and strategic partnerships enabled it to excel.

“We achieved this by making critical strategic decisions at the right time. One such decision was the transition from Norsk Lagerteknikk AS to EAB Lagerteknikk AS in 2008. This marked the beginning of a new era for the company,” explains Runar Bøe.

Reflecting on the company’s journey, Runar finds it thrilling to have witnessed its growth:
“The progress over the past 40 years has positioned us to take on new, large, and important projects. We’ve become a key partner that significantly contributes to project success,” he adds.

Expertise and strong customer relationships at the core

EAB Lagerteknikk prioritises collaboration with customers to develop and tailor products to their specific needs. According to Sales Manager Frank Mandal, this customer-centric approach is a cornerstone of the company’s success:

“The customer knows their needs best, while we bring the expertise and experience to bring their vision to life through a well-developed product. This is what makes working with our customers so rewarding – the final product is perfect for them, and the process is constructive, enriching, and valuable for both parties. This creates added value for both us and the customer.”

Innovation and sustainability shape the future

EAB Lagerteknikk remains at the forefront of development, particularly through its use of advanced 3D technology. By offering detailed 3D models and working closely with customers, the company identifies opportunities and challenges early in projects. This proactive approach helps avoid unnecessary costs, optimise solutions, and ensure seamless processes. Identifying potential challenges early isn’t just smart – it’s a key part of EAB’s sustainability efforts.

“Sustainability is not just part of our strategy; it’s also one of our most important competitive advantages,” says Frank. “At EAB, we work purposefully to minimise environmental impact – something our customers value, which strengthens our long-term relationships.”

Frank also highlights the importance of managing the supplier role effectively:
“As a supplier, we have a unique opportunity to help our customers grow and develop. It’s this approach that truly builds trust and long-term partnerships.”

EAB – a workplace for growth and success

At EAB, tradition and innovation come together in a unique corporate culture marked by camaraderie and high ambitions. Here, everyone – from the CEO to production staff – feels like part of a family. Employees are at the heart of the business, a fact reflected in the company’s culture: one built on warmth, shared values, and a clear vision. These factors have been instrumental in EAB’s success and its employees’ satisfaction over the years.
