An important project for the environment
VIVAB, located in Falkenberg, Sweden, is building a new waste management facility in Gödastorp, Falkenberg. A new transhipment station for combustible household waste and a pre-treatment facility for food waste are being built next to the existing biogas facility. The project is important for the environment, with reduced transports being the greatest positive effect.
EAB has designed and manufactured the steel frame, which has now been installed. We are also putting on the metal roofing and cladding the building with concrete plinths and steel sandwich panels. The building will be some 1100 m2 in size and have an interior clearance height of 7 metres.
VIVAB (Vatten & Miljö i Väst AB) operates the water and waste treatment facilities in Varberg and Falkenberg. The company is jointly owned by Varberg and Falkenberg municipalities.
The project is being done in collaboration with MTA Bygg & Anläggning in Varberg.
