EAB acquires assembly company
During the winter, EAB acquired Hallbyggarna Sala, an assembly company whose activities include building industrial halls, warehouses and logistics halls. The company currently consists of 39 employees, including 34 erection workers, all of whom will continue in their existing roles.
Per-Åke Andersson, CEO of EAB
“Our growth strategy at EAB has performed well, with a noticeable increase in sales in all three of our business units. Purely organic growth can’t meet the needs that we have today and will continue to see in the future. This acquisition is thus a natural step in our continued development. It gives us the opportunity to provide erection workers over a larger geographical area and ensure that we can continue to deliver our products to our customers at the right time and at the right quality. Hallbyggarna Sala is a fantastic and reputable company that shares the same core values and commitment to excellence as EAB. We feel very comfortable and happy about having the Sala gang join the EAB family.”
Mattias Leffler, CEO of Hallbyggarna Sala
“We’re very pleased to have such a strong and committed owner and can now 100% devote ourselves to developing what we are best at, structure erection work on a larger scale. Since the acquisition took place last winter, we’ve already collaborated with EAB on several projects. We’ve also been able to hire four more erection workers. It feels really positive in every possible way.” Hallbyggarna Sala will continue to operate under the existing company name.
